About Us

DPI has been meeting since 2016

We are a non-profit organization that meets once a month in the Dundas Museum.

We have members from a variety of backgrounds in photography. Some are new to the field and others are more experienced. Membership cost participants a fee for the rental of our meeting space at the Dundas Museum of $60 paid to the Museum.

We participate voluntarily in community projects such as Help Portraits for families during the Christmas season. This project has been on-going since the inception of DPI. It has been a very successful endeavor and has impacted the community in a positive way. We have also provided photographs for Routes participants who could not have afforded portraits otherwise.

On May 29, 2024 DPI will be having an Exhibition of Photographs at the Dundas Musuem.

We have very interesting speakers on various topics related to photography and share our work from projects undertaken throughout the year. Examples of “outings or field trips” have been panorama, waterfalls, portraiture, and street theatre; and monthly topics have included light, triangle of light, post processing and printing.

Members are not formally evaluated; however we do make suggestions if needed.

We welcome new members!
